THE DRAWING BOARD
Let's get back to basics. As comfortable as I am creating on the computer, I am just as comfortable with a pencil and paper. As far back as I could remember, I loved to draw. I would get lost for hours in my sketchbook, constantly refining my ideas until they looked exactly as I pictured them in my head. The creativity came naturally, but it took years to perfect my talents. Obtaining my associates degree in painting and illustration was the first step. This helped me realize my potential as well as introduced me to the world of design. I understand that great design doesn't come from a computer program. Although the computer has become an irreplacable tool, a creative mind and the ability to sketch an idea gives design that original, and authentic flavor that makes it special.
